PAF & PAT# replica pickups

Our PAF and PAT replicas are built using carefully selected Vintage Correct and Vintage Inspired components, combined with winding techniques developed from the study of original vintage examples.

Wire type, number of turns, winding pattern, coil balance, tension, and overall geometry all play a part in the final character. We pay close attention to these details to reproduce the subtle variations that made early humbuckers so distinctive.

Our windings are designed to capture the musical character of the originals — from the open, dynamic response and rich midrange of early PAFs to the added clarity, attack, and definition associated with later PAT-era pickups.

Aging

Aged by Hand with vintage parts

Each pickup is aged by hand, with subtle variations in finish, hardware, covers, screws, and other details. We avoid excessive or artificial-looking wear, focusing instead on the small imperfections and natural signs of use that develop over years of playing.

The result is a pickup that feels at home on a vintage-inspired instrument — worn, authentic, and full of character, without looking artificially aged.
